Tangerine dried peel contains a lot of vitamin A, it`s a kind of traditional Chinese medicine.
Hesperidin is a flavanone glycoside found abundantly in citrus fruits. Hesperidin is believed to play a role in plant defense. It's soluble in pyridine, sodium hydroxide solution, soluble in DMF, slightly soluble in methanol and hot glacial acetic acid, and very slightly soluble in ethyl ether, acetone, chloroform and benzene.
