INTRODUCTION:
 

Fo-ti is native to central and southern China and is distributed in Japan and Taiwan. It is a perennial climbing herb, which can grow to 30 feet in height. The plant has red stems, heart-shaped leaves and white or pink flowers. The roots of 3- to 4-year-old plants are dried in autumn. 
Native to China, fo-ti is a flowering vine with a woody tuber. Polygonum multiflorum is a member of the Polygonaceae plant family with red stems, heart shaped leaves, and white or pink flowers. Fo-ti is revered in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and can be found on the international herb market with various processing methods including raw or cured. Our fo-ti extract is macerated with cured root and does not contain gluten.
