Chasteberry (Vitex agnus-catus) is a small brow berry fruit of the chastetree which is about the size of peppercorns andsmells likepeppermint.
The main active ingredients in Chasteberry are Flavonoids, alkaloids, diterpenoids, Vitexin and steroidal hormone precursors. Chasteberry extract is measured by the concentration of Vitexicarpin. Vitexicarpin also called Casticin, is a Flavonoids compound.
