INTRODUCTION:

Codonopsis pilosula, also known as Dangshen, is a perennial species of flowering plant in the bellflower family. It is native to Asia, where it grows in forests, meadows, and scrub.
Codonopsis pilosula produces twining stems up to 2 meters long. It has lateral branches with alternately arranged leaves and small branchlets with oppositely arranged leaves. A perennial species of flowering plant native to Northeast Asia. Pilose Asiabell is an important medicinal herb in traditional Chinese medicine, and it widely distributed in Shaanxi, Sichuan, Hubei, Hunan,Yunnan, Guizhou,etc.
